Episode 1: Winter Is Coming

The story begins north of the Wall where Night’s Watch rangers encounter terrifying White Walkers. In Winterfell, Ned Stark receives news that his mentor Jon Arryn, the Hand of the King, has died mysteriously. King Robert Baratheon travels north to offer Ned the position. Meanwhile, across the sea, exiled Targaryen siblings Viserys and Daenerys plan their return to power. Viserys sells Daenerys in marriage to Dothraki warlord Khal Drogo in exchange for an army. Young Bran Stark discovers Jaime and Cersei Lannister in a compromising situation, leading Jaime to push him from a tower window.

Episode 2: The Kingsroad

Bran survives but falls into a coma. An assassin attempts to kill him, but his direwolf saves him. Catelyn Stark suspects the Lannisters and travels south to warn Ned. Jon Snow decides to join the Night’s Watch despite knowing he’ll never inherit anything as a bastard. The next morning, she emerges unburnt with three baby dragons, the first seen in over a century.
